About

Alex has over 16 years of experience in financial services, helping members feel confident in their finances and making meaningful progress toward their most important life goals. He loves building long-term, trusted relationships and helping translate a complex financial picture into simple, actionable roadmaps. Alex started his career in 2010, developing a strong foundation in risk planning at Northwestern Mutual, investment management at OmniStar, and comprehensive planning for high net worth clients at IronGate Partners (local firms in Wilmington, NC). Before joining the team, he served as a Senior Lead Planner at Facet Wealth, where he honed his deep expertise in retirement planning, risk protection, and navigating complex equity compensation. Alex earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Accounting from North Carolina State University. Outside of work, Alex treasures time with his wife, Megan, and their daughter, Margot. You can often find them boating or biking around Wrightsville Beach, and he stays active through his love for traveling, surfing, and golf.
